Keynote Speaker at 2005 Primavera Conference Shares Lessons Learned in Space Aboard the MIR Space Station

Primavera's 22nd Annual Conference, Nov. 13-16, at Orlando's Walt Disney Dolphin, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, was a success. Primavera's CEO, Joel M. Koppelman, said the annual conference attracted more than 1,500 attendees, representing 22 countries. Koppelman noted that there were attendees from each of the 50 states in the US, along with 42 exhibitors. A highlight of the conference was the keynote address of Captain Jerry Linenger, M.D., Ph.D., retired US flight surgeon and NASA astronaut. Linenger spent five months on the Russian Space Station Mir. His keynote address was titled, "The Sky is Not the Limit: My 132 Days Off the Planet." Linenger also has a book chronicling his Mir experiences.
