Kristy is an active board member of the Nevada Section of AACE International. She currently serves as a Section Past President and a committee member on the Women in Project Controls Task Force. While serving as Section President (2007-08) and Vice President (2006-07), she achieved the following accomplishments at the section level. 1. Increased monthly section meeting attendance by 70 percent in the last year (2007-08). 2. Coordinated two site tours with the local NAWIC chapter. 3. Generated interest in certification by holding a section meeting with a certified panel and a certification study hall. This teamwork effort achieved 17 certifications awarded to the Nevada Section in one year. 4. Proctored beta exam for the CEP certification.
