S&k 'online' Learning Product To Launch In 2009

As 2008 draws to a close, it is a good thing to reflect on the past year and see if the goals established at the start were achieved. This is no different for the Education Board. The goals for the Education Board have been many and varied. Harry Jarnagan stepped down as Chair of the Education Board in June 2008, after serving in that role for the past three years. Harry left with the Education Board in good shape and working hard on its most ambitious project ever. Early in the year we started the ambitious task of converting the Skills and Knowledge of Cost Engineering, Sth edition, into a high quality "On-Line" learning product. The Education Board has some very dedicated members who worked very hard as subject matter experts. As subject matter experts, the Education Board took the topics in S & K 5th Edition and put them into a format for on-line programming. After some six months of effort we are on the edge of launching a very high quality and professional product.
