The mission of the Automation Federation is to be the "Voice of Automation." We are providing awareness, programs, and services that will advance the automation profession for the betterment of humanity. We are actively engaged with governments, business groups, industry groups, and academic institutions to help show the world just how important, talented, and essential automation professionals are.rnOur government relations activities include meetings with government officials demonstrating the benefits of using the expertise automation professionals have on vital topics such as CyberSecurity, SmartGrid, andrnmanufacturing. We're also working to develop the next generation of automation professionals with our Workforce Development initiatives, which include the establishment of Automation Career Week and the creation of an automation competency model.
