IMTS 2012 show floor sampler: Ease of use among recurring themes

With 100,200 registrants, the highest show-to-show increase, IMTS 2012 included, for the first time, Industrial Automation North America (IANA) and the Global Automation and Manufacturing Summit. A small show sampling follows, demonstrating one of the recurring themes at the show: ease of use. Siemens and Kuka Robotics collaborated to integrate robotic workpiece handling with computer numerical control (CNC) in a demonstration at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS 2012) in Chicago.
