Internet, manufacturing groups sign memorandum of understanding

Representatives for the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) and the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) International signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work together to advance shared interests in the Industrial Internet of Things (HoT). Under the agreement, the IIC and MESA, a not-for-profit organization comprised of manufacturing companies and information technology suppliers, will work to align efforts to maximize interoperability, portability, security, and privacy for the industrial Internet.
