Valedictory editorial

摘要

This is my last editorial as editor-in-chief of Control Engineering Practice (CEP). I am standing down on 30 June 2010 after 5 years as editor-in-chief and will be replaced by Andi Kugi from the Vienna University of Technology. During this time I have been responsible for 60 journal issues, or about 660 published papers making up more than 7500 journal pages. I assigned about 2000 new paper submissions to designated editors in addition to a similar number of revised paper submissions.
