And fortunately 2013 seems to be on a bit of an upswing even though a sense of economic uncertainty continues to persist. Construction industry consultants FMI Corp., Raleigh, N.C., reports that residential construction is taking a turn for the better as home sales improve in some areas, while multifamily is generating increasing interest.
