When I began my journey as NATE chairman in October of last year, I assured you that I would address the challenges facing our contractor community and find solutions that make the value of NATE certification more evident to our partners and customers. Much has been done to achieve these goals, and I hope that you will use the new resources introduced in this issue to support the growth of your own businesses. NATE held a truly beneficial meeting of the minds recently, where volunteers both in and outside of the industry came together to discuss the future of the organization's training and development offerings. Consequently, the NATE team is now challenged to delve even further into identifying the necessary job knowledge, skills and training required to support technician development. We expect to engage all industry partners as we work to ensure that we are leading the charge for HVACR technician development.
