The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) has bestowed its 2018 Richard C. Schulze Award on Darryl Denton and Stephen Lind, both employees of Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand. The two earned the distinction through decades of service to the HVACR industry. Denton established the Lab Evaluation and Adjustment Plan program to standardize third-party HVACR testing. Lind's sound modeling and predictions have helped customers design acoustic-friendly HVACR systems.
