Genie revamps telescopic booms

Genie has redesigned its S-80 and S-85 telescopic booms in line with the S-60 and S-65. Updates include fixed 2.5m-wide axles (for increased durability and speedier deployment), 'virtual pivot' boom assembly (which keeps the weight of the boom over the chassis' centre of gravity while it elevates) and faster elevation. Other updates include enhanced serviceability and maintenance. It has a new single cylinder and sequencing cable boom system, and many of the hydraulic hoses on the swing chassis have been hard-lined.
