Clugston begins Tyne waste job

After more than three years in negotiations with client Graphite Resources, Clugston Construction has finally started work on a ￡50m flagship waste management scheme on Tyneside. The Derwenthaugh Ecoparc plant will be designed and built at Blaydon, Gateshead. The 80-week contract will consist of a municipal solid waste reception, a steam treatment and separation plant, a light waste line/despatch area, plus a green waste and transfer station.
