Seven firms to share £120m county framework bonanza

Seven Firms have been called up to serve on a "collaborative construction framework" deal covering work for local authorities in eastern England and worth £120m. The SMARTE East Alliance, as the project is known, is a joint venture between Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk County Councils, but the system can be used by any local authority in the east of England.
