Why did you go into construction? At 161 had no interest in pursuing an academic route to work. I was keen to do something hands-on, that's why I took the vocational route and trained to become an electrician.rnWhat training/qualifications do you have? I completed my City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 to become a qualified electrician and was really happy working on the tools. Ten years later I wanted to take on a new direction and progress into management. I took an HNC in contracting management and passing this allowed me to go on and take an executive diploma in management, followed by an MSc in facilities management.
