Oda Final Say On Village Winners

Olympic delivery Authority (ODA) chiefs will have the final say on all major trade packages awarded by construction manager Bovis Lend Lease on the ￡lbn Athletes Village. Controversy has surrounded the award of work on the job so far to smaller concrete frame contractors. Now Bovis is revamping its procurement methods for the 11 blocks up for grabs and all firms chosen will have to be approved by the ODA. The 11 'vertical build' packages will be tendered individually. Winners will either manage that part of the site themselves or operate under Bovis.
