Andrea Fraser is a performance artist whose practice straddles both theatre and the visual arts. In this interview, Fraser discusses her scriptwriting and performance methodologies with Judith Batalion. Fraser focuses particularly on her interest in the writings of Pierre Bourdieu, and considers both her ‘self-portraiture’ and her work to be theatrical production.
