Multiple Partners Help Achieve Fast-Track Construction in Latin America

Anyone who's ever built a new home knows what a headache it can be to get all the details right, and keep the project moving toward a timely completion. Now imagine the challenges involved in constructing a new business facility in a Latin American country. Then imagine you're building not one, but three facilities concurrently in large cities hundreds of miles from one another, on a tight deadline. Global project management, cross-cultural communication and effective systems integration among many supplier partners enabled the data services provider OptiGlobe to do just that ― build three world-class, fifth-generation data centers in Brazil and Argentina in just under 10 months. The lack of a reliable power and telecommunications infrastructure in the region meant OptiGlobe needed to enter the market quickly to take advantage of the growing demand for IT outsourcing services.
