President Obama's Stimulus Bill Will Provide Energy Assistance To States

According the International Code Council (ICC), the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (HR 1) passed the U.S. House of Representatives on Jan. 28. The House of Representa-tives passed the legislation, which includes $3.4 billion in energy assis-tance grants for states. The state's conditional grants require the adop-tion of the ICC's 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).
