Motor starter with thermal motor protection

Cerus Industrial Inc. has introduced a single-phase motor starter for use with exhaust fans, unit ventilators, and fan coil units in installations that have building automation systems, occupancy sensors, or timers. With wide-range, adjustable Class 10 electronic overload protection, the BAS 1P protects single-phase motors up to 1 hp. The motor starter provides either voltage controlled or normally open contact inputs, and doesn't require interposing relays. Panel LEDs verify unit operation, and indicate "proof of run" and fault status. Options include manual or automatic overload reset.
