THE RIGHT THING TO DO: AGC AND THE EBAC COMMITTEE HAVE A VISIONARY APPROACH TO REPRESENTING CONTRACTORS AND THE CHANGING FACE OF AGC

When the Equal Business Access Committee (EBAC) formed several years ago, the members worked hard to find a niche for the fledgling committee within AGC—a place for their voice to be heard. Since then, the Committee has garnered tremendous support from the Executive Board, thanks to AGC's foresight to include it among critical issues concerning the future of the industry. CONSTRUCTOR recently interviewed EBAC Chair David Hanson, Walbridge Aldinger Co., Detroit, and Vice Chair Cleophas Limbrick, RJ. & Company Property Maintenance, Portland, Ore., from the EBAC Committee. During the interview, Hanson and Limbrick explained how the Committee benefits both AGC and the construction industry. A common thread running through the interview was the symbiotic relationship between the EBAC Committee and AGC—they work together to meet the needs of the evolving construction industry.
