EDUCATION AND OUTREACH ARE THE KEYS TO RECRUITING WOMEN TO THE INDUSTRY

Women comprise 9.9 percent of the construction industry workforce, with an even smaller number of women on the front lines — an estimated r percent. With women making up 47 percent of all employed individuals, this means that the construction industry is only benefitting from about 1.5 percent of the total female workforce.
