Cracks in ceramic tile and natural stone can create problems for high-end flooring installations. Fortunately, sophisticated crack-isolation systems can significantly reduce the risk of fracturing. This article examines the reasons why installed tile, stone, and marble can crack. It also outlines how to properly prepare new and existing concrete slabs for installation using various crack-isolation systems.
