摘要

In his 1955 book, On Beyond Zebra, Theodor Geisel (a.k.a. Dr. Seuss) tells a story of how unconventional thinking broadens awareness and dissolves the limitations of false boundaries. In it, the protagonist unveils a secret alphabet to his unwitting classmate, Conrad Cornelius O'Donald O'Dell. Less than two stanzas in, Geisel gets to a dramatic point: Said Conrad Cornelius O'Donald O'Dell. "So now I know everything anyone knows "From beginning to end. From the start to the close. "Because Z is as far as the alphabet goes." Then he almost fell flat on his face on the floor When I picked up the chalk and drew one letter more!
