CSI on top of the world with new affiliate

The northernmost settlement on the North American mainland now has its own Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) affiliate.rnBarrow, Alaska, sits some 515 km (320 mi) north of the Arctic Circle. In mid-November, its sun goes down and remains below the horizon until late January. The new local affiliate group, led by Michael Harsany, CSI, of WH Pacific, comprises leaders in supporting the Construction Documents Technology (CDT) certificate program-more than 100 individuals have sat for the exam in the past five years.rnCSI Northwest Region directors Loren Berry, FCSI, CDT, and Robert Simmons, FCSI, CCPR, are leading CSI support for the new group.
