More than 2560 m (8400 ft) of structural steel framing, with an exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS) cladding, was used to implement the radius-filled interior design of the new Cherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. Owned by Cherokee Nation Entertainment, the 9755-m~2 (105,000-sf) hotel and 17,559-m~2 (189,000-sf) casino cost about $92 million to build. According to Charles Chief Boyd, FCSI, CCS, AIA (Thalden Boyd Emery Architects), it was themed around Cherokee historical times from the 1790s to 1820s.
