Major project Tenders are currently being invited for scheme that wilt comprise various works to social housing stock in an area of north Leeds. The 20-year deal is valued at ￡160m, and will involve the refurbishment and construction of council properties, along with environmental Improvements and maintenance. The council is due to appoint a preferred bidder in the autumn, while demolition work is being undertaken in ad vance of the appointment of a contractor.
