The CIOB Belfast Hub held its annual dinner at the Hilton Hotel in Belfast at the end of February. Over 215 construction professionals from the public and private sectors attended, which was one of the largest CIOB events in Belfast in recent years. Guests included the winners from the annual awards held in January (see p55). Speakers at the event included Gerard Graham, chair of the CIOB Belfast Hub, Terry Watts, managing director of the CIOB and Belfast-born Stephen Martin, director general of the Institute of Directors, one of the most influential positions in UK business.
