Picturing the emerging engineering construction research agenda: reflections on the Managing Engineering Construction special issue

My reflections on the emergent engineering construction agenda stem from exposure to thinking and research from a variety of tracks. First, I have strong links with North American and European practitioner networks through my work with the CII (Construction Industry Institute) and ECI (European Construction Institute). I also have a number of interactions with professional institutions including the IMechE (Institution of Mechanical Engineers) and the APM (Association of Project Managers). I also interact with specific university teams including those based in Manchester and MIT.
