After falling significantly during the middle part of the decade, the sector appears to be enjoying significant growth despite the problems affecting other areas of the construction industry. Furthermore, growth in sector output looks set to continue as near term roads and rail sub-sectors provide growth. In the medium term, electricity, water & sewerage in addition to rail once again, look set to provide significant growth.
