With infrastructure output and orders rising 35% in the first quarter of 2010 and growth spread across most sub-sectors, output is expected to rise by 16% in 2010. Further growth throughout the forecast period is anticipated to leave output in the sector during 2014 almost 50% higher than five years earlier; benefrtting particularly from considerable growth in the regulated sectors of rail and electricity.
