Paving's Class of '99

Here are some of this year's paving stars ready to tackle future projects. Many of these machines will be displayed at Conexpo-Con/Agg '99. Continuing to make paving more efficient and productive, manufacturers of paving-related equipment are presenting the senior class of machines expected to do the work of the future. Leading the class is a selection of asphalt and concrete pavers that well reflect current technology. Noting that jobs are smaller and more diverse than in the past, manufacturers have designed pavers to handle work such as curb-and-gutter, sidewalks, parking lots and bike trails, yet are versatile enough also to handle street work.
