Distributors See lighter Markets Ahead

Like many other segments of ithe construction market, equipment distributors enjoyed a bountiful year in 1998. Interestingly, as strong as last year was, the distributor community had forecast an even better year. Their forecast for 1999 is positive, but cautious, calling for an above average yea, but something well short of the stellar business conditions of the 1994-98 run.
