Michelin's XHA2 wheel-loader tire was designed to work efficiently even on rough terrain. To make the tire more damage resistant, the company added extra rubber to the tread, and the side-rnwalls were strengthened with a special protective rib and anti-scrapernshields. The tire also is composed of crack-absorbing rubber com-pounds to help prevent flats. In addition to being more robust, the XHA2 offers improved trac-tion, able to expel earthrncaught between tread blocks while reducing temporary loss of grip.
