Manitowoc's boom truck range expands

Manitowoc Cranes will be showcasing the NBT 55 as one of two models from its newly designed line of National Crane boom trucks. The NBT 55, which has a capacity of 55US tons (49.6tonnes), is the largest boom truck in the National Crane line. It is available with two different booms: a five-section boom that is 128feet (39m) long and one of 102feet (31m) with four sections. A novel feature of the NBT 55 is its cross beam front outrigger box, which allows the outrigger footprint to be shifted more toward the front of the crane. This eliminates the need for a front outrigger, although it is still available.
