A highlight of Voegele's paving display will be the new rear-mounted Voegele VR 600-2 extending screed, presented for the first time at CONEXPO-CON/AGG2011. Like the company's Vision pavers, the screed has been developed specifically for the requirements of the North American market. It has a basic width of 10feet (3m) and extends automatically to 19feet 7inches (6m). Its bolt-on extensions are designed for easy mounting and the screed builds up to a maximum paving width of 28feet 2inches (8.6m). The new Voegele screed combines with the lOfeet (3m) Vision 5200-2 and Vision 5203-2 pavers.
