Among Terex Roadbuilding's six-model asphalt-paver range is the 260-horse-power CR662RM RoadMix, which serves both as a paver and as a material transfer vehicle. Configured as a paver, the CR662RM Roadmix features the company's patented Remix Anti-Segregation system that employs variable-pitch, counter-rotating augers (instead of slat conveyors) to move material from hopper to screed. Converting the CR662RM RoadMix to its material-transfer-vehicle configuration (with a storage capacity of 43 tons) requires about four hours, says the company.
