Case Construction Equipment has introduced the CX75C SR and CX80C, Tier 4-Final mid-sized crawler excavators. The Tier 4-Final emissions standards have been met through the use of cooled EGR combined with a DOC system. There is no DPF, which means there is no need for active filter re- generation. The short-radius CX75 SR and the conventional CX80C have completely redesigned cabs, with increased interior space some 7 percent wider than the previous models. A larger glass area also improves visibility to the front of the machine. Rear visibility has been improved with the option of a rear view camera. In addition, the new units now have the same full-color monitor as larger excavators from the Case CX C Series. Case says the CX75C SR and CX80C develop 9 percent more hydraulic power than their predecessors.
