Volvo Construction Equipment's Blaw Knox and ABG paving lines encompass models that range in operating weight from approximately 31,000 to more than 50,000 pounds, and in maximum paving width from 21 to 42.7 feet. The P7820 ABG shown here uses the Volvo D8 V-ACT engine rated at 235 horsepower and meeting Tier 4-Interim emissions standards. A dial on the console allows the operator to set the machine's turning radius, and an automatic track tensioner maintains correct adjustment to promote smooth travel and reduced track wear. Conveyors and augers feature independent, reversible, hydrostatic drives.
