Anyone with any questions about front-discharge mixers or any other truck that Oshkosh has produced over the years would enjoy talking with Clarence Jungwirth, an engineering consultant who began working for the company in 1945. He started with Oshkosh upon leaving the U.S. Army following infantry duty in the Pacific. That's the subject of his book, "Diary of a National Guardsman in World War Ⅱ."
