The Guardian Angel personal safety device-says 425, Inc., the company that developed the product-is the "industry's first wearable, portable light bar designed to improve personal safety." The Guardian Angel, says the manufacturer, can make the wearer visible from more than two miles away, from above, and from virtually any angle, a plus on busy construction sites. The device uses a series of LED lights, front and rear, rated at up to 930 lumens, as well as a work light. Available in a selection of light-color combinations, the Guardian Angel has various mounting provisions, allowing it to be attached to clothing, vehicle windows, or any number of surfaces.
