Doosan Goes Big With DL580-5 Wheel Loader

Doosan is expanding its wheel loader lineup with the DL580-5, designed to be a two-pass fill wheel loader for over-the-road, 24-ton capacity trucks and aimed at aggregate, mining, and heavy-duty construction applications. The company says the model is able to move large amounts of abrasive material while providing operators with comfort and increased uptime. In addition to the two-pass fill solution, the unit is available with bucket selections that are designed to last through harsh material-handling tasks. Also, the machine is equipped with an enhanced front workgroup that features a reinforced Z-bar and a larger profile arm and lift cylinder geometry that work together to improve lifting capacity and performance.
