摘要

For many years we have heard how office automation will result in the paperless office, fortunately people are being more realistic about this. Although systems now in use can reduce the volumes of paper being used there remains the need for paper copies of some documents, particularly in the construction industry where most of the more important work on the construction project is carried out away from the office environment.
