Fine-grained concrete containing spoils form open cuts and hydroremoved ash form thermal power plants of Ekibastuz as aggregates

摘要

The composition and the technology of fine-grained concrete-containing spoils form open cuts and hydroremoved ash from thermal power plants in Ekbastuz(Kazakhstan) for use as aggregates has been developed by the SSAM. The concrete is to be used for load-bearing and enclosing structures of low-rise buildings. The burnt spoils from open cuts are heterogeneous in their minerablogical, chemical and granulometric compositions, approx. 30/100 of them being decomposed under atmospheric conditions. These spoils have disturbed the ecological balance in the region.
