摘要

The use of RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) in new asphalt pavements could potentially generate environmental footprint reduction especially in terms of raw-material consumption. This investigation aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the addition of rejuvenator and plastomeric polymer on the performance of high RAP content (40%) asphalt mixture. Six combinations, varying proportion of rejuvenator and polymer, were studied. Mechanical and long-term performance was evaluated through laboratory investigations analyzing the physical properties and rheology of the binder and measuring stiffness modulus and permanent deformations (rutting) of recycled asphalt mixes.
