摘要

Premature debonding is the major barrier to FRP (fibre-reinforced polymer) utilization in FRP-reinforced concrete structures and restricts the promotion of structural bearing capability. The additional mechanical fasteners could restrain the interfacial debonding, which has been suggested by many research studies. However, the mechanism of FRP-to-concrete with mechanical fastening in HB joints still needs to be further studied to make it into a structural design. This study carried out 7 single-shear tests to study the interfacial bonding characteristics with mechanical fastening, and a reliable bond-slip relationship was obtained. The 2D numerical model was built based on the unified bond-slip model and verified through the test results. Parameter analysis was implemented to analyse the further design method, which is not yet clear, including the fastener spacing, number, distributed pattern and external bonding length at the fastener's two sides.
