摘要

The Tankan survey for the March quarter showed a broad improvement in corporate sentiment since the start of the recovery. Marking a fourth straight gain, the diffusion index for large manufacturers rose to -14 from -25 in the December survey, while a similar increase was recorded for non-manufacturing firms, too. Furthermore, although most firms envisage small cuts to investment in FY10/11, profit projections for the period have turned positive.
