GDP is expected to be negative in Q4 which, following the 0.3% (q-o-q) decline in Q3, would indicate that the economy is already in recession. Activity has been particularly affected by the drop in demand from the rest of the Euro zone-the Netherlands are reliant on exports. Meanwhile, unemployment is still low in comparison to other European economies, but it is likely to climb during 2012.
