The outlookforthe Swiss economy has brightened further this month, after GDP expanded by a better-than-expected 0.5% (q-o-q) in Q3. Growth was buoyed mainly by a positive contribution from net trade as Euro zone demand recovered somewhat and the SNB's currency cap of 1.20SwFr/euro - which is set to remain in place over the coming months-helped exporters. Meanwhile, household consumption and gross fixed investment eased to +0.2% (q-o-q) and 0.4%, respectively.
