1. The second release of Q4 2012 GDP showed a contraction of 0.4% (q-o-q), revised down from -0.2% reported in the preliminary estimate. Private consumption and gross fixed investment were downgraded to -1.3% (q-o-q) and -0.8%, respectively. Household consumption fell by 2.3% (y-o-y) in January, hampered by climbing unemployment and stubbornly high inflation. However, the CPI cooled slightly from 3.0% (y-o-y) in February to 2.9% in March.
