The Swiss economy is forecast to grow by 2.1 % and 2.2% in 2014 and 2015, respectively, with the economy benefiting from improving foreign demand and low unemployment. The healthy job market helped boost retail sales by 1.0% (m-o-m) in March, after a 1.2% gain in February. Elsewhere, the PMI for manufacturing rebounded to 55.8 in April, marking the thirteenth straight month of growth within the sector.
